Sr Competitive Technical Manager – End User Computing
The End User Computing Competitive team is seeking a talented, results-driven technical marketing manager, technical account management, solutions architect, or product management professional with a good understanding of the Digital Workspace technology and market dynamics. You will work closely with our product management, product marketing, engineering, and field teams to build and communicate a clear view of our competitive market positioning. Your main responsibility will be to provide technical comparisons and create differentiated technical sales tools against the competition. You will deliver timely technical analysis of competitive products and announcements with recommendations for client responses and strategy. You will also design and craft high quality technical assets for use by customers, client's field technical teams and partners. This is a dynamic role with rapidly moving boundaries that requires a deep understanding of the underlying technology elements. You will need to interact with our customers and global teams, which will require some travel.
In this role, you will work independently and as a member of a team to design and craft content that helps our field teams and partners communicate our market-leading capabilities to customers. You have the ability to work in a fast pace environment demonstrating autonomy in conforming to strategic intent while adhering to team values

Required Skills:
• 5-10 years successfully supporting global field teams by providing compelling competitive product differentiators
• Engineering, computer science or other technical degree; MBA a plus
• Windows management, deep knowledge of Windows MEM (InTune and SCCM) and Workspace ONE UEM
• Excellent people and communication skills, written and verbal (writing samples will be requested)
• Ability to provide an impartial technical evaluation of competitor’s products compared to VMware’s
• Ability to deliver concise communication assets that support others in detailed conversations with customers that accurately and positively describe the client's unique value proposition
• Experience developing product marketing and technical marketing content to support competitive positioning campaigns
• Proven track record of working with customers and partners, and ability to influence their decisions with timely evaluations
• Demonstration of an understanding of digital workspace technologies, including EMM/UEM, VDI/RDSH and Identity management
• Established knowledge of the end-user computing market and the competitive landscape
