Principal HRIS Analyst


The Principal HRIS Analyst is also responsible for supporting HR, Payroll, and HR Operations functions globally. You will help drive the upgrade of all people systems, processes and reporting to ensure we are maximizing our use of technology (Workday, CSOD, Kenexa, etc.), with Workday at the Core.


  • Share a passion for systems and processes to transform the way HR services are delivered to the organization.
  • Senior level knowledge of Workday HCM and Payroll with the ability to lead in the design, configuration, testing and deployment of new modules / functionality, security design and reporting / analytics.
  • Lead in initiatives that require Workday integrations with other systems, both internally and to external vendors.
  • Owns configuration for assigned areas, while providing oversight and coaching across all configuration for the team.
  • Evaluate, communicate and coordinate the functional and technical impacts of Workday configuration decisions to stakeholder groups.
  • Design and deliver enterprise analytics and dashboard in the system.
  • Lead and Manage major releases for Workday (or other assigned portfolio assets). 
  • Manage projects & enhancements by leveraging project management principles.
  • Act as the primary day to day vendor contact for Workday or other vendors in the portfolio, with responsibility for monitoring vendor performance and building a productive long term relationship.
  • Assist and provide Level 2/3 Support on HR production issues.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 10 or more years of experience and knowledge in the HRIS field including a background/education in both technology and human resources.
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in Workday.
  • Workday Core HR, Workday Payroll, Workday Benefits, Workday Recruiting. Workday Talent, Workday Advance Compensation, Workday Advanced report writing or Workday Studio/Advanced Integrations
  • Broad knowledge/experience with multiple SaaS HR technology platforms and tools.
  • Demonstrate the ability to architect and present solutions across the HR Technology
