Our Biotechnology Client is seeking an experienced IT Sr. Business Analyst within the Enterprise Applications group of IT.  This individual will combine functional and technical skills to implement, maintaining and supporting applications across the HR function of the company. The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise in HR applications and experience in analyzing business needs, defining detailed requirements, partnering with 3rd party vendors, managing integrations, system documentation and change control processes.


Partner with 3rd party vendor to define requirements and deliver Oracle Fusion HR configuration changes and report development
Partner with 3rd party vendor to manage Oracle Fusion HR environments, including recurring refreshes, security practices and deployment of changes
Partner with 3rd party vendor to manage integrations across HR system architecture by understanding the source/targets, frequency, data mapping and error notifications.
Manage access requests and security policies and processes
Develop or oversee creation and maintenance of requirements documents, SOPs, test scripts, user acceptance testing, production support documentation, change control and other relevant deliverables for various IT systems in the HR domain
Elicit requirements using interviews and workshops, document analysis and business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
Serve as the conduit between the HR customer community and various internal and external support teams
Ensure appropriate IT processes, procedures, and standards are developed and in place
Build and foster effective relationships between the business, external service providers and IT
Lead issue resolution and cross-functional problem solving with internal and external technical support providers


Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience supporting / implementing systems (or equivalent)
Experience working directly with HR function
Experience working with IT vendor relationships within pharmaceutical/biotech industry
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time utilizing effective prioritization and communication skills

Technical Knowledge/Skills Needed:

Experience managing HR systems in a business analyst role (or equivalent). Experience with Oracle Fusion HR is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of Fusion HR configuration and reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers, subject matter experts and IT counterparts
Experience working with third-party partners and suppliers. Experience working with offshore delivery teams is a plus
Experience in biotech and pharmaceutical industry and best practices is a plus
