Position Overview:

As a member of the Information Technology Department, the Senior Engineer will work directly with an IT Delivery Team supporting Corporate and Performance and Attribution business groups.  The Senior Engineer will work on solutions to streamline data integration, reporting and analysis for these business units.  The ideal candidate should have experience with full-stack software development.  The role will have in-office hours and the team member will be part of an on-call rotation. A successful candidate is a motivated self-starter with an aptitude for learning new skills and environments quickly while multi-tasking on more than one deliverable.

What You’ll Do:

Work with an agile delivery team to enhance and support software applications
Build new cloud-based solutions to support workflow automation and simplify/centralize data access for consumers 
Work directly with our business partners to design, implement, test, and deploy solutions
Serve as the subject matter expert for one or more applications 
Support the daily operations of our customers and help to research and triage reported issues
Analyze and document business systems and pro-actively identify problems and opportunities for improvement?

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
3-6 years of experience, financial services experience a plus but not required
Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) required
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Technology Stack (.NET Core, C#)
Experience designing databases with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB
Experience building REST API’s
Prior experience working with Amazon Web Services is preferred
Familiarity with the following: Containers, Service Discovery, Secrets Management, Microservice Architecture, Infrastructure as Code
Additional application/toolset experience: GitLab, Consul, Vault, Docker, Terraform, Sonarqube, Splunk
Ability to work independently with limited oversight
