Job Description

Summary

The IT Business Analyst is responsible for the coordination, management, testing and development of ancillary applications and secondary support of our clients Enterprise Applications. The IT Business Analyst will be working with the other IT Business Analysts and Enterprise Applications developers to gather requirements, manage projects, coordinate testing, and validate data. The IT Business Analyst will work with Functional Areas to recommend and support business process needs and improvements.

Key Outcomes: 40% of Time: Project Management ? Collect, analyze, and translate business requirements into user stories, workflows, business process logic, process maps, wireframes, specifications, and acceptance criteria. ? Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects through developing project plans and monitoring performance. ? Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.

30% of Time: Strategic Planning and Partnership ? Engage with internal stakeholders to determine a strategy and vision for software applications, including business needs and requirements. ? Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users, building strong relationships and becoming a trusted partner and subject matter expert. ? Creates and maintains business relationships with respective stakeholders, and supports their work and functional needs with relevant expertise.

30% of Time: Data Testing and Validation ? Participate in system planning and testing including user acceptance testing and system integration testing. ? Configure, test and deploy requested and required changes in coordination with functional offices and Technology support. ? Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Education, Experience & Qualifications ? Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience ? 3+ years of related experience ? Ability to use Excel and other tools to manipulate data for import or export ? Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, LucidChart ? Demonstrates strong communication and writing skills for both technical and non-technical audience ? Excellent problem-solving skills ? Excellent time management and prioritization skills ? Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and meet negotiated timelines with high quality deliverables ? Knowledgeable regarding data analysis, report writing, and SQL queries ? Experience in higher education field preferred ? Workday experience strongly preferred

Michael’s journey with TPA began in March 2006. As the current Director of Operations, he plays a crucial role in supporting both the Sales and Delivery teams. His enthusiasm for his team’s growth and success is a testament to his dedication and leadership qualities. Before joining TPA, Michael laid the foundations of his career at a large technology staffing firm, where he honed his skills in dual roles as a Recruiter and Sales Executive. This experience was pivotal in developing his knack for nurturing relationships, a skill he regards as paramount to professional success.

Academically, Michael has a solid background with a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University, followed by a Master of Science from American University.

Olivia is a graduate of Stonehill College and spent a year in recruiting. She has been able to grow with TPA in her career and take on many more responsibilities in her role. She loves cultivating strong relationships with clients and consultants while learning more about human resources and the staffing industry.

After spending over 30 years in the IT services industry and holding positions from sourcer to senior VP,  Tony had a vision to start a firm that combined the qualities he admired of both the large and small agencies he worked for.  TPA technologies was born from best practices that make large firms successful with the family feel and employee centric attitude of smaller firms.  

One of Tony’s favorite sayings echoes that idea, “TPA is big enough to change and small enough to change”.
