Job Description

Our client is looking for a Solution Architect to architect, design and modernize the technology systems that we rely on every day and to grow, and partner with product and engineering teams to build and manage these systems to solve business issues effectively. 
 
3 days per week onsite in Boston
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with product owners and technical leaders to develop future architectural vision for databases, data platforms, data API, data solutions including AI, ML, and LLM, by understanding business goals and capabilities.
  • Develop and collaborate on establishing architecture standards, patterns and practices with other architects to be used repeatedly across solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end functional and technical solution design for cloud-based solutions, SaaS solutions and vendor products.
  • Define architectural standards, principles and the governance framework and processes to manage stakeholder decisions and safeguard the integrity of the solution architecture.
  • Provide technical oversight, leading solution architecture related tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents and code reviews.
  • Enforce and maintain compliance with Enterprise Architecture, Technology - Security and Resiliency Standards and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning and best practices.
  • Execute knowledge management, thought leadership and innovation activities; act as an advisor and mentor to architectural and technical resources providing guidance and motivation.
  • Promote the secure software development lifecycle best practices among peers and other technical staff.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers; may act as career advisor to technical team members.
  • Collaborate with Technical governance on security, risk management, compliance, data governance related activities.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in architecture, analytics, design, and development of enterprise solutions in multiple technology platforms, frameworks, and languages.
  • Provide technical leadership, prepare design artifacts, and implement solutions for agile teams. You will drive the end-to-end solutions architecture design and ownership and articulate the design to the product owners, agile teams, and architecture leadership.
  • Design and implement the technology architecture for reliable, secure, cloud native custom solutions, and in migrating legacy applications to cloud.
  • Design and implement the technology architecture for data solutions, and advanced AI (including LLM) platform systems and solutions.

Dan Hinckley

Dan joined TPA in September 2024 as President. He is responsible for building the business processes and consistency TPA offers to its clients and consultants. Dan is focused on the overall success of TPA by applying his core principles of Attitude, Personal Accountability, Perseverance, and Habits. All departments report into Dan and are working toward the overall improvement and growth of the organization. “We have to focus on providing an amazing experience and value to all of our clients and consultants.”

Dan has over 25 years of experience in the staffing industry working across all areas of staffing including technology, biotech, life sciences, finance & accounting as well as general. He has held roles from Director of Finance to CFO as well as EVP and President.

Dan graduated from Assumption University with a BS in Accounting and received his master’s in accounting from Bentley University. Dan is an avid golfer and family man.

Mike Wrightington

Prior to joining TPA, Mike was in similar roles with several other firms in Boston. Building and maintaining personal relationships with my network is my favorite part of my job.

Michael Blecher

Michael’s journey with TPA began in March 2006. As the current Director of Operations, he plays a crucial role in supporting both the Sales and Delivery teams. His enthusiasm for his team’s growth and success is a testament to his dedication and leadership qualities. Before joining TPA, Michael laid the foundations of his career at a large technology staffing firm, where he honed his skills in dual roles as a Recruiter and Sales Executive. This experience was pivotal in developing his knack for nurturing relationships, a skill he regards as paramount to professional success.

Academically, Michael has a solid background with a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University, followed by a Master of Science from American University.

Tim has been with TPA technologies since 2014 and is a Recruiting Lead with the company. Tim is involved in both recruiting and account management at TPA and loves that each day at work is different. Prior to joining TPA, Tim worked as a Recruiter & Account Manager at several local staffing agencies in the Boston market.

One of Tony’s favorite sayings echoes that idea, “TPA is big enough to change and small enough to change”.
