Technical Integration Manager (API's)

Product Deployment:

This position is primarily responsible for working directly with clients and third party service providers to manage the deployment of our integration services.  The position requires a high level of subject matter expertise, excellent customer service and communication skill, the ability to multitask and work on several project simultaneously, and good project management skills.  Although the position has no direct reports, the position requires the ability to manage others (in supporting groups) in order to accomplish all project related tasks. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Consult with clients & vendors to review service requests and advise on product-related information and recommend solutions
  • Initiate and manage the deployment project
  • Develop product deployment schedules in conjunction with the requesting clients and all supporting technical groups
  • Assist in developing test cases, test region configuration, and testing support
  • Initiate production installation configuration procedures
  • Coordinate and conduct the production deployment
  • Communicate status to internal management and the client throughout the entire deployment process

Product Support:

A secondary responsibility is to provide product and content related support to our clients.   Reported issues and general questions need to be researched, analyzed and answered in a timely manner.  Systems analysis skills are a plus for this position.  Oftentimes, an issue requires the help of subject matter experts across the technology organization, so it's essential to have the ability to build successful networks across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Respond to client requests for assistance with service-related questions
  • Perform analysis to provide solutions, engaging the help of the FI Technology or Support groups as needed
  • Provide issue status to the customer; track and document all issues for metrics reporting.


Education and Experience 

  • College degree,  or equivalent experience in a technical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven technical management experience with a focus in the following areas of integration Services: Single Sign On technologies (PingFederate, SAML, PKI) and API (XML, SOAP)
  • 5+ years of demonstrated proficiency in a technical project management role
  • Demonstrated  Financial (brokerage) industry experience a plus
  • Proven product management experience a plus
